Today I saw this:

What else is there to say?
I mean, agreed. I don’t think we’re supposed to rush.
I’m not into rushing. There are only three things I do fast — walk and eat and talk.
But I can mosey. I can nibble. I can linger over a conversation.
In general, I reject hustle culture.
Hurrying doesn’t serve me. I don’t feel the need to serve The Grind.
I know rushing from thing to thing fulfills needs in some people. Being busy is a facet of self-esteem. I’ve been there. I speak the words and understand the culture. But it’s not my native language.
I’d rather get all the things crossed/clicked/scratched off my list early and have time for meandering. Wandering. Wondering.
Breathing. Listening to birds or waves or leaves.
Looking for the moss.
